Anti-Aging injections, commonly known as Botox or Anti-Wrinkle Injections, are the most common non-surgical treatment performed worldwide. Genetics, the natural aging process, coupled with sun exposure, the expressions we make, and daily stresses can cause us to develop wrinkles. These injectables help patients to rejuvenate their appearance by treating deep wrinkles that appear on the forehead, around the eyes, and other areas on the face.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is it safe?

Anti-wrinkle injections have been around for over 40 years and are used on over 10 million people worldwide.

What is the process like?

For patients new to the procedure, you will require a short consultation with Dr. Khan. We apply EMLA topical numbing cream before your treatment to ensure it is as comfortable as possible. Anti-wrinkle injections are injected with a very fine needle into the facial muscles that cause wrinkles in your areas of concern. This makes it difficult for muscle activity to occure, thereby reducing creases and wrinkles in the skin.

How long does it take to recover?

There is no downtime with anti-wrinkle injections & you are free to resume daily activities as normal. We recommend not going to the gym or any sports activities until after 24 hours post your treatment.

How long does this treatment last for wrinkle reduction?

Every individual is unique, but ideally a top up every 4 months tend to show the best results.

When can I see results after treatment?

Results are generally seen after 3 days and are further enhanced over 10 days.

What about follow ups?

Remember: Less is more when it comes to such treatments! You can always touch up results during a follow up. This will ensure a natural and unfrozen look.
